CAN YOU PLEASE TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY AND THE PROJECT 'RIDE MY ROAD'?
Last year ago I wanted to take my photography of women to the next level. I was on the mend from a broken heart and I didn't want to feel alone in that pain. So I jumped on my motorcycle, rode 10k miles around America, photographed 36 survivors of domestic sex trafficking and raised almost $60k for the Rebecca Bender Initiative. It was a wild ride. I was on the road for 8 weeks and honestly I am still recovering from the intensity of the miles and the stories from the survivors. I really wanted to know if it is possible to heal a broken heart through helping others. The journey was a success and has changed my life in virtually every way. I still continue to shoot survivors, work in the movement to end domestic sex trafficking and to support women how ever I can.
WHERE DOES YOUR LOVE FOR MOTORCYCLES COME FROM?
I learned to love bikes from my dad. He has been riding since he could walk basically and he taught me a lot about them. We are a passionate family so we take our sense of adventure and pretty much go all out with whatever it is. Bikes are a big part of our lives.
WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU SHARE WITH OTHER GIRLS/ WOMEN?
My advice to other women is that no matter what you are doing, do it well. Whether you are building an empire or taking a year off to sleep and watch Netflix, get into it. Do it well, care about your life and if you are in a rut, look outside and see who needs help and do that for a bit. Always wear your helmet and don't be too serious.

WHERE ARE YOU FROM / WHERE ARE YOU CURRENTLY BASED?
I am from Alaska but I left at 17 to travel the world. I live in Oregon now. I love the Pacific Northwest too much to live anywhere else these days.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING AND WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING IN YOUR FREE TIME?
I am a photographer and I also teach businesses how to leverage authenticity to build a strong online presence. I work with non-profits to help them fundraise as well.
WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO PHOTOGRAPHY?
I have pretty much always been obsessed with beauty. I grew up staring up into the leaves for hours and I have always taken photos. I didn't pick up a camera professionally until about 4 years ago. I photograph women specifically. I am on a mission to photograph women and help them see their true beauty. The photoshoots are about building confidence, shedding self doubt and celebrating strength and vulnerability.
WHAT/WHO INSPIRES YOU?
I am inspired by other women. I only like to hang out with people who are better than me. Ha! I like to surround myself with authentic, vulnerable, bold women. They remind me of all the things I can be.
